Notes:
1 These are minimum requirements. Additional RAM will improve overall
system performance and should always be considered.
2 The size of the Backup System should be appropriate for the server in question
in order to handle all files/data that require backup.
3 The size of the hard drive is based upon this server primarily being used for
AOD and necessary O/S and driver files. If running other applications or providing user
file storage, a larger drive/multiple drives may be required. RAID and other fault-tolerant
systems should be considered.
4 Serious consideration should be given to a 10/100/1000 Gigabit Card and switch for
better performance.
